The Pipe Layer will install, maintain, and repair underground utility systems including water, sewer, storm drainage, and fire lines. This role requires hands-on field experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in varying site conditions.

• Install underground utilities: water, sewer, storm, and fire lines
• Set and check grades using lasers and levels
• Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
• Lay pipe to line and grade, ensuring proper joints and bedding
• Operate hand tools and small equipment safely
• Assist excavation crews and communicate with equipment operators
• Backfill trenches and compact in accordance with project requirements
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
• Follow all safety policies and regulations

• 2+ years of pipe laying or underground utility installation experience
• Ability to read plans and use pipe lasers/levels
• Knowledge of site safety procedures and trench safety
• Physical ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift 50+ lbs
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience in civil construction, public works, or site development preferred
